PierceCare

If you have special talents you would like to share, our residents enjoy quality interactions with genuine individuals, learning and staying involved with the community. Music is always a favorite. Crafts, baking, games and exploring current events are some other popular activities. We welcome new ideas and energy. We gladly provide our valued volunteers with the training necessary to most effectively serve our residents.

Choose from a wide variety of volunteer activities:

• Health and wellness; transporting residents to medical appointments (our vehicle, or yours with mileage reimbursement)
• Recreation; transport residents to activities and assist with activities
• Lunch and picnic out or shopping trip companion
• Adult day care aide
• One-on-one visits with residents
• Crafting or special sewing projects
• Dietary assistance
• Landscaping; grounds maintenance and gardening
• Musical performers
• Bingo (Saturday mornings)
• Pet therapy visits
• Assist residents with laundry
• Hairdressing and grooming
